Pathway 5- CHANGE HAPPENS!
CHANGE HAPPENS!
Maria decides to take an alternative pathway.
The path of a lifelong learner can bring many enriching opportunities for personal and professional growth. It is possible one might start their life-learning at college, but then an unforeseen circumstance changes the course of their pathway. Whether from a life challenge or by choice, lifelong learners actively pursue knowledge through real-world experiences in a variety of contexts.
For Maria, it was a life choice. She had learned a great deal as a volunteer working side-by-side with a lobbyist for climate change. When it was time to head back to college, Maria found herself torn between continuing her formal studies or pursuing a different kind of path for learning and making a difference in the world.
Maria has decided to choose from the following life-learning opportunities. She will still be following her passion in climate change, just in a different pathway.
